I LOVED the pic of your shorter hair, and shorter is uaually so much easier! That's what I keep thinking anyway, because I am dying to chop mine off! Keeping it long, it just ends up in a ponytail most of the time anyway. But being pregnant, my decision making skills leave much to be desired and my mind changes every 5 minutes, so get back to me in 5 I may say dye it blonde and keep it long, ha ha!!! (Which of course is a YEAH RIGHT!!)
When I was in junior high I had long hair and a perm, and I have to say: I would not recommend it. It takes forever and you have to sit there with smelly stuff on your head making conversation with other people in the salon. In addition, it is expensive. Of course, perm technology may have advanced in the last 15 years.
