yes or no: can you wear peep-toe shoes with fishnets, or is that too much?

I think things like fishnets are the only kind of tights/nylons you CAN wear with peeptoes, personally. But then again, what do I know? I wear jammies whenever humanly possible.
Back in the late 1960s when fishnets were MOD, I don't recall that peep shoes were OK. (Typically rounded-toed mary janes that matched the color of the mini-dress. Like, uhm, purple or whatever). Heh heh, fishnets. I was a young teen at that time! Don't know what the rules are about that now. (Probably whatever you wish).
i was wondering this question r3ecently myself. i WANT it to be okay.. and i want it to be okay to wear reqular tights with peep toes shoes too. i think you can get away with the fishnets but i cant get away with the full on black tights and peep toes. which sucks for me since i hate not wearing tights.
